History of the NationStates Region of Rohan

We the nations of Rohan extend a warm welcome to all our friends and allies. You will find this to be a safe, prosperous and friendly land.

History Of Rohan
Little is known of Rohan’s history prior to May 2005 when records show it to have been a two-nation region. At this time another region called “Rohan Home of the Horse Lords” contained seven nations while Edoras contained three nations and Meduseld two.

In June 2005, Edoras, Rohan and “Rohan Home of the Horse Lords” were invaded by Heathen Mercia – a small raiding group whose delegate password-protected the invaded regions. Edoras was subsequently re-opened by its founder while “Rohan Home of the Horse Lords” died within a month of the invasion. At around the same time as the invasion, Meduseld was sold to Gatesville – the largest player-created region in NationStates.

In the month that followed, the password of Rohan was released and several nations moved to occupy the region. The regional password was then changed by a group of Middle Earth defender nations. Radagast the Birdtamer (a puppet nation of Barnabas Butterbur) moved to Rohan and remained until the last remaining nation died. In August 2005, the region was refounded in order to secure its future and protect the name from further raids.

In September 2005, the nations of MiddleEarth agreed to relocate to Rohan as a means of gaining themselves the greater security in a region with an active founder. With the influx of MiddleEarth nations and with new nations joining, Rohan has now grown to far exceed anything it had attained in recorded history.

12th Oct 2005 - Korhal V is first elected UN Delegate
Krystallos elected as deputy UN Delegate
17th Oct 2005 - Government Elected, --> Krystallos takes up UNJ Delegate position
